Carter is 1!

I made some veggie pizzas and broccoli dip to go with the cake we shared with some of our neighbors.


Overall, we had a great day. Carter enjoyed his new toys and all the attention he got from everyone. He roared at his cake and enjoyed a few bites as well. Gavin did well with it being Carter's day- but did have a huge breakdown when it came time for Carter to blow out his candle- Gavin wanted to do it all himself :( We had several phone calls from family wishing Carter a happy first birthday- he even got to listen to his Oma and Opa sing to him over the phone...if only I could have captured his HUGE smile on video!
