Today officially kicked off our first day of potty training! It was a long day of running to the potty every 30 minutes- but Gavin did so well and we're so proud of him! He was so excited each time he pottied and when he had to go he would take off running to the bathroom with a loud "Oh NO...", then he would give us tons of hi-5's each time he was done! Hopefully he'll catch on quickly and this won't be a huge headache...though I'm sure it will by no means be a piece of cake! If anyone has some fabulous tips on potty training- I'm all ears! Send the tips my way!
Lastly, please pray for a friend of mine- Kelly. We were best friends all through jr/sr high. Her mom called my mom the other day asking for prayer- apparently Kelly had been having back problems and her doctor sent her for an MRI. On the MRI they found a spot on her kidney and they are pretty sure it's malignant. She goes in for surgery tomorrow (Friday). Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

When he's ready to be potty trained and tired of diapers, he'll be potty trained and you won't even have to ask him once. Denise
