"Thank you" and we're now accepting applications!

Last night at supper, after we finished praying, Gavin looked up- reached in front of him and set the bowl of corn and the plate of pork chops in front of them and with a big "Thank you!" started to take a spoonful of corn with the giant serving spoon! Apparently he was hungry!

A few more stories about Gavin. He has become our apartment "greeter"- he likes to stand at the window waving and shouting "privyet" (hi) to everyone who walks by. He especially enjoys it when someone waves back- and the occasional person replying with a sweet "hi, hi, how are you?!" I'm just waiting for someone to ask him where is mom is and why she lets him talk shout out the window! And our son has a new favorite game "Klassika" or better know in America as hopscotch. He was first introduced to it on Blue's Clues and fell in love with it while playing it outside at Forum with the nannies. He has mastered jumping on one food and turning around to pick up his rock. We specially went out and bought him chalk b/c he was asking everyday to play and we had no chalk! So, I got a little video of him playing tonight that I need to post one day very soon!

Oh...and exciting news! Okay- maybe it's only exciting to us! But we found a little metal garage to rent outside our apartment building! It's too small for our car but plenty big enough for us to store the boxes that are piled in the corners of our house and the sleds! It will open up quite a bit of space and it will give us somewhere to store the little bike we're buying Gavin! I can't wait to move out boxes and give the boys some more room to play!

And Finally...

To our supporters who may be interested- we're looking for a group of people to come the beginning of August to help us with an English camp. We just found out that the team of 8 that we expected to come from western PA only has 2 people! So... if you're available the beginning of August and are interested- by all means let us know! JB has already contacted a few churches- but we're still hoping to add to the 2 from Western PA- so please drop us a line- soon! and we can answer your questions and fill you in on the details! Thanks!
