One last, exciting, thing... Our babysitter stopped over the other day to drop off a New Year's gift for us and for the boys. When she was here she asked about the Bible we read the Christmas story from during our English Cafe movie nite at our house (when we watched "It's a Wonderful Life"). We read from the Message- Remix b/c we thought it would be the most understandable. She asked if she could borrow it (she wants to buy one- but asked to borrow ours in the mean time) b/c she was really interested in reading more! She didn't have but a minute and has been out of the city since then- but she's coming into the city on Friday to stay with the boys during a team meeting we have- so hopefully we'll have a chance to talk then. So, please remember Alyona this week!

Back to Business as usual
Well, now that the holidays are finally over- ending with Russian Christmas on the 7th... our life is back to normal. The tree and most of the decorations are down, and we're back to being busy. Please remember Carter- he woke up this morning with a fever and it's being going up little by little all day. He's very cranky, but other than that he doesn't have any other unusual symptoms. Hopefully it's just a virus that will pass very quickly and that won't affect anyone else! We were supposed to go to friends for supper tonight (sorry Goodmans!)- but we put it off till Saturday...when it should be more fun (w/ a healthy Carter, hopefully) and hopefully we won't be passing germs to anyone else- no one appreciates kids germs! So...we'll just be eating leftovers tonight instead of Janet's yummy cooking! Also, please pray for JB as he's busy taking care of some left over tax issues that need cleared up. He's been busy making phone calls and figuring out where the tax office is and all kinds of other stuff that isn't interesting but has been keeping him busy!
