Sometimes I wish that nothing else will happen. But it always does.
If you received our latest newsletter you know a little about what is going in our lives right now- But let me recap for the rest of you... Our landlord/nanny/neighbor came to me last week saying they have been given an offer on their house- the house that we live in half of...
Everyone was telling us that there is no way they would sell- Stas has lived here for 28 years and 12 years ago he build the second story and the addition that they live in- himself! So, he and his family have invested a lot in this place. But, Friday evening he came over and told us the lawyer is coming to draw up the papers and they sealed the deal that evening. So, we have to be out by the end of June and the whole property will be bulldozed and then the new owners will begin building a cafe here- how sad. But, definitely good for Inna and Stas b/c with the bar next door and the bus stop out front- it's so loud and so many people. Not to mention that the house on the corner was just sold (and will be turned into a salon) - so that only leaves one house on our block that isn't a business.
We looked at our first place today- it's an apartment owned by Stas and Inna's best friends. The kitchen is big (anything is bigger than we've got now!) but the living room is miniscule! I really have never seen anything this tiny! So, for that reason I don't think we'll take it- if we're moving I really want a place where we can entertain- even if it has tiny bedrooms! So, we have a few more leads that I'm pretty excited about- so, we'll keep you up to date! Please keep this in your prayers- that God would lead us to the right place, and that He would bring along the perfect nanny to take over for Inna.
