cookies and snow

So... it's been snowing all day. I LOVE it! Why? Well... outside of the fact that snow is one of the funnest things God did with nature- and it makes everything look beautiful- it covers up all the trash outside! We have a great view from our living room window- trees and walking paths... but our wonderful neighbors 2 floors up always toss their trash out their balcony window. Why it's too much to ask to take out to the dumpster, I don't know. But, we always know when they have a party b/c there are dozens of 2L plastic beer bottles (yes, you can buy beer here like you can pop in the states!) on the ground outside our window along with several empty vodka boxes. Beautiful. But... alas, the snow falls and covers it all up till spring, when all the trash will be uncovered. Can't wait! (insert sarcasm here.)

Fun Gavin story... Gavin now believes that cookies grow in your ears. Why would he think that? Well- it's all JB's fault :) JB thought it would be funny to 'pull' a cookie out of G's ear. And, it was. The look of amazement on his face was priceless! And since then JB has done it 2 or 3 more times- each time producing that same reaction... though, now, Gavin keeps asking me to look in his ear for a cookie. He looks at his ears in the mirror and asks "where are the cookies?" and makes me 'clean' his ears several times a day- wouldn't want those cookies to be dirty!
