Great Wolf Lodge

Sunday afternoon we took Gavin to Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky. We got an incredible deal on a 'kid cabin' and couldn't pass it us as a last family outing while Gavin is still an only child! Our room was incredible- Gavin had his own 'cabin' complete with a log bunk bed and day bed and JB and I had a beautiful log bed! Not to mention all the great art featuring moose and bears everywhere in the hotel! The biggest draw was not the outdoorsey theme but rather the indoor waterpark! Gavin loves the water, so we knew he would have a blast! We spent Sunday afternoon and evening at the waterpark playing with Gavin on the waterslides and lazy river and climing the big fort in the middle of the waterpark. Monday morning we had breakfast in one of the restraunts and spent the whole day back at the waterpark and Oma (JB's mom) came and spent the day with all of us. She even took him down one of the big waterslides :) He was very excited at first, but after the ride he didn't want to do it again!
