---> Moscow...

We arrived in Moscow yesterday morning- The flight went much better than expected... we were really worrying about how Gavin would do, since the last time we flew with him he was barely mobile! He fell asleep as we took off and slept most of the way. When he woke up we were starting to descend, so he was only able to watch a short episode of sesame Street on the the DVD player the Masons let us borrow (thanks Donnie and Blythe!). He slept during most of the 2hr drive across town to the Crouch's apartment. As soon as he stepped foot into their apartment he started running... and hasn't stopped since. He is really enjoying all the open space to run up and down the hall (hope the downstairs neighbors don't mind too badly!) and he spent an hour just running circles around the couch! It was so great just to spend a whole day as a family with nothing else to do but play with Gavin and hang out!

This morning JB and I woke up early and Uncle Tom came over early to watch Gavin so that JB and I could go to the European Medical Clinic. When we arrived, the doctor let us know that he has received the biopsy report and they were not able to find any malignant cells! PTL! Unfortunately, they were not able to remove the polyp today- after they started the procedure they found that his colon was not sufficiently clear... So- JB came home for a few hours, saw Gavin, gathered a few things, and is not back at EMC getting prepped to have the polyp removed tomorrow morning at 7am. Please keep him in your prayers as he is dreading going through the bowel prep and the procedure for the third time now! He will spend the night at EMC and I will meet him there tomorrow morning.

In the mean time Gavin is napping... When he wakes up we will go hang out with the Beckers for a little while!

I'll leave you all with a beautiful photo of my hubbys eye! This was taken after his first procedure last week- Apparently he was allergic to one of the anethetics they used and his airways swelled so that he was unable to breath. Fortunately the doctors quickly realized what has happening and were able to help him- in the mean time he was coughing so fiercely that he ruptured the blood vessels in his face and his left eye!

Gross. I know. But, fortunately it is starting to get better and it wasn't painful for him.
